The HDP blamed the government which, it said, had blood on its hands. |

Organizers - an alliance of environmental groups, charities and opposition parties - said 250,000 people had taken part in the rally against free trade deals with both the United States and Canada, far more than they had anticipated. "This is the biggest protest that this country has seen for many, many years," Christoph Bautz, director of citizens' movement Campact told protesters in a speech. |

Eleven days of bloodshed in which four Israelis and 20 Palestinians, many of whom had carried out knife attacks, have been killed in Jerusalem, the Israeli-occupied West Bank, Gaza and Israeli cities have raised concerns that a new Palestinian uprising may be brewing. Palestinians have been angered by events at the al-Aqsa mosque compound in Jerusalem's walled Old City and fear Israel wants to change the status quo at Islam's third holiest shrine, revered by Muslims as the Noble Sanctuary and by Jews as the Temple Mount. |

When the final whistle blew in Zenica, Coleman thought Wales' first defeat of the qualifying campaign meant he would have to wait until the last Group B fixture on Tuesday to seal qualification for Euro 2016. "When we come off losing 2-0 I thought we would have to go again but our secretary gave us the Israel result and it was complete elation," former Wales defender Coleman said. |
