Car bomb explodes in Yemen capital near mosque used by Houthis, two dead

On Wednesday the Sunni Muslim jihadist group claimed responsibility for four car bombs that detonated near mosques used by the Houthis and the group's headquarters in Sanaa, killing two and injuring around 60 people.

International lawyer Saad Djebbar told Reuters Ahmed Mansour, one of the most senior journalists on the channel's Arabic service, had been abruptly and unexpectedly arrested in Germany. A spokesman for the German Federal Police confirmed that a 52-year-old man was arrested at Berlin's Tegel airport at 1320 GMT (9.20 a.m. EDT) following an international arrest warrant from the Egyptian authorities.
