The system remains at a Category 1 strength with maximum sustained winds at 85 mph. To the south, Tropical Storm Maria is now about 360 miles east of the Windward Islands with maximum sustained winds at 40 mph.  The system will maintain its strength as it persists on its northwestward track over the Caribbean Islands.  Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Nate is about 110 miles west of Campeche, Mexico. The system has maximum sustained winds at 70 mph and is expected to strengthen to a hurricane before making landfall over eastern Mexico.
