Police on Saturday arrested an 18-year-old from Ivory Coast after discovering he had a mobile phone, laptop and video camera as he returned to the migrant reception center where he had been living since arriving in Sicily by boat in June. China to open high-speed rail link to North Korean border Posted: 31 Aug 2015 04:17 AM PDT China will open a high-speed rail line to the North Korean border on Tuesday, state news agency Xinhua said, the latest effort to boost economic ties despite tension between the countries. The line, under construction since 2010, will run 207 km (127 miles) from Shenyang to the border city of Dandong, which faces North Korea across the Yalu River, and will shorten the train journey from 3 1/2 hours to just over one hour, Xinhua said. The new link will "raise the region's economic competitiveness", the report cited an unnamed railway official saying. |

"The explosion damaged the buildings around the ENI complex and burned three cars," said Omar Khadrwai, a senior security official. ENI's joint venture partner NOC said in a statement the blast had caused only minor damage and would not impact Mellitah's operations. |
