Iran is aiming to strike an accord with six powers by June 30 that would curtail its nuclear program in exchange for relief from sanctions. "Iran will absolutely not allow its national secrets to fall into the hands of foreigners through the Additional Protocol or any other means," Rouhani said in a televised news conference, referring to an IAEA provision that would allow more intrusive inspections in the Islamic Republic.

Redur Xelil, the YPG spokesman, told Reuters the YPG and smaller Syrian Arab rebel groups fighting alongside it had begun the move towards Tel Abyad after encircling the Islamic State-held town of Suluk 20 km (12 miles) to the southeast. The advance raises the prospect of a battle at the Turkish border between the well-organized YPG militia and Islamic State.

After a weeklong review of the outbreak of Middle East respiratory syndrome, the panel of experts told a news conference that there was no evidence to suggest the virus is spreading in the community. The outbreak in South Korea has so far been occurring only in hospitals, among patients, family members who visited them and medical staff treating them.

Italian policemen disperse around 200 migrants who were staging a sit-in at the border between Italy and France in the city of Ventimiglia on June 13, 2015Italian police moved Saturday to disperse around 200 migrants who were staging a sit-in at a border crossing with France after French police refused to let them enter the country. Officers in riot gear pushed the migrants back towards the town of Ventimiglia, five kilometres (three miles) from the border. Some of the migrants refused entry into France had gone on hunger strike and others organised a sit-in at the border crossing and tried to block traffic.
